Gemological Fields in Bulgaria

Subject of study in the book is the gemology as science, features of gemology and types of processes in the formation of gemological fields, organic and non-organic processes, kinds of classifications of fields. Presented are more than 160 gemological finds from Bulgarian lands, which are part of the Alpine-Himalaya geosynclinal area, divided in jewellery stones; jewellery decorative stones, decorative stones; materials of animal origin; materials of plant origin. It is discussed the problem of preservation of the gemological resources of Bulgaria.
