Assoc. Prof. Ventsislav Djambazov, PhD joined NBU as full-time academic staff in 2004. He started work at the Department of Anthropology but soon transferred to the Department of Informatics driven by his professional interests and involvement in NBU’s eLearning project. Associate Professor Djambazov is among the key figures in the advancement of digital and distance education at NBU, including the Moodle NBU learning platform.
In 2002 Ventsislav defended a PhD dissertation “Sociology of Communication” at NBU. In 2009 he was awarded a doctoral degree from the Center for Science Studies and Science History at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences with a dissertation “Innovations in Education and Research”. In 2013 he became an Associate Professor of NBU with a research on web-based consumer interfaces.
Ventsislav teaches courses dealing with multimedia, programming, internet research, advertising etc.
