How to Apply

 

There are two forms of PhD studies at NBU:

• Regular form;
• Self study.

The differences between them are in the admission process, tuition fee and duration.

 

 

EU and EAA applicants to Doctoral degree programs 

 

Step 1: Download and complete the  Application form, Declaration, Application for foreign degree recognition.

NOTE: You should pay special attention to the list of documents you need to submit. Be sure to check the specific requirements to each document listed on the last page of the application form.

Step 2: Submit the application form and required documents listed on its last page to the International Relations Office, Building 1, main lobby, 1-st floor.

Step 3: Arrange for an admissions interview at New Bulgarian University. For more information about admissions interview dates, registration periods and deadlines please contact the Office of International Relations.

 

 

Non-EU applicants to Doctoral degree programs 

 

Step 1: Download and complete the  Application form, Declaration, Application for foreign degree recognition.

  Аpplicants are obliged to present a valid medical report, legalized and translated into Bulgarian.

Step 2: Submit the completed application form and required documents listed on its last page to the International Relations Office, Building 1, main lobby, 1-st floor.
