 Transfer students 

 

Students who wish to transfer to NBU from another college or university in Bulgaria or abroad should submit the listed documents below:

 

  1. Official diploma for completed secondary education and diploma supplement. Please note that the diploma and diploma supplement must be officially legalized in the country where secondary education has been completed, then translated into Bulgarian and legalized. Countries that have signed the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents require a relatively simply process known as APOSTILLE.
  2. Original or notarized copy of your Academic transcript. Please note that the transcript must be officially legalized in the country where the degree has been obtained, then translated into Bulgarian and legalized by the Bulgarian Embassy in the same country. Countries that have signed the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents require a relatively simply process known as APOSTILLE.
  3. Medical certificate, issued not earlier than 1 month prior to application, legalized by the authorities in your country, translated into Bulgarian and legalized. Countries that have signed the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents require a relatively simply process known as APOSTILLE.
  4. Two recent passport-size photos.
  5. A copy of the first page of your passport or other identification documents with your names in Latin letters, date and place of birth.
  6. Copies of all your language certificates.

 

*If you have Bulgarian citizenship and Bulgarian secondary education diploma, but you are transferring from a foreign University, you are not required to deposit medical certificate.

 

**If you have Bulgarian citizenship, foreign secondary education diploma and you are transferring from a foreign University, you are also not required to deposit medical certificate but your secondary high school diploma must be deposited first in the Regional Inspectorate of Education where it must be acknowledged.
